Someone once said, “What’s the point of buying brand new jeans if they are already frayed?” A very good question seeing that one buys new clothes so that they look exactly that…new! Same goes for bamboo flooring. You wouldn’t want to have brand new floors installed with the edge of the wood exposed, would you? Of course not! Make your bamboo floors look immaculate with Bamboo Warehouse’s range of bamboo skirting.
The bamboo skirting at Bamboo Warehouse comes in either 45mm or 90mm height options. These, as well as, the other accessories are available in natural or carbonised finishes. They also offer you a choice of 8 skirting styles, from end-caps to complete stair tread. Here’s a quick lesson on how to choose which skirting and accessory is ideal for your floor layout.
At the end of the day, you want your brand new Bamboo Warehouse floor to look good. Use an end-cap to create a beautiful transition at the end of your bamboo floor. They are ideal for use at the front or sliding glass doors.

Like the front and sliding doors, walls also form part of the perimeter of your home and your bamboo flooring will most likely extend to those. Finish the rough edges of these off nicely with either Bamboo Warehouse’s full or quarter height skirting. These are used to cover the gap around the rooms and also act as a beautiful transition between the floor and the wall.
Moving to the bamboo flooring that is further into the house…you’ll either need a T-style or reducer skirting. These accessories are basically the same with the former being used between 2 floors that have the same level and the latter for floors that have a slight difference. The T-Style type of molding has a cross-section shaped like a “T”.
