Think ground cover moss, ferns, pretty flowering bushes, plants that will froth over and form a beautiful natural patchwork of colour and smell for when you are sitting in your private little bench area!

Another great design idea for small gardens is to deck or pave off the majority of the area, but fill the borders with your choice of greenery. Some may want to create privacy by using fast growing, tall plants like bamboo, palms or small trees, others may wish to plant for colour or smell and will keep to low shrubbery or soft looking plants.
