This season, colour blocking as a décor trend is huge. Why not colour block with a bit of bright canary yellow. Using a combination of strong and fun colours can really bring the breath of spring 2011 into a room. Use combinations like canary yellow and electric blue, or canary yellow and turquoise. Canary yellow and Lime green with a hint of either shade of blue is also very funky!

Sticking with the colour blocking concept, a very cool décor idea for using canary yellow in your design and décor is to paint small accent areas with the colour as contrast against your actual wall.
