We love the contemporary furniture designs by Eurocasa’s Colombostile manufacturer! They are modern…with a touch of tradition and personality. In fact, these furnishings have so much personality, you would think that they might come alive!
One such Eurocasa and Colombostile design is part of the Contemporary collection and is inspired by sailors and seafaring life. It’s an armchair that has a clearly nautical theme with it’s blue, white and gold colours. The designer of this seating unit really tapped into his creative side having gone beyond mere nautical colours. The armchair is even dressed in sailor uniform!

That’s right, this Eurocasa seating delight is decked out in a blue collar with a white strip detail – this forms the backrest of the armchair. The white duck jacket and trousers of the uniform has been adapted into white cushioning, and the yellow buttons that adorn the suit have been fastened to the collar of the chair. A white and yellow rope, which is commonly used as a safety barrier on ships or is attached to ring buoys. Here’ it serves a purely aesthetic purpose to tie the theme together.
Colombostile sums this collection and design up with “a new song, in which, at times, we hear an echo of old tunes.” When you look at this Eurocasa nautical armchair, can you hear the sailors, as they go about their seafaring work, and the seagulls singing? We can!
