With a name like Jaquiò, we wouldn’t judge you for mistaking the 200% Italian furniture company as Brazilian or Portuguese. We did! So how did we stumble upon this one? Well, there was this stunning picture of an outdoor lounger on the ORA Outdoor website that looked super-vintage, like something out of the film Grease. Remember when Danny and Sandy fell in love? It would have been the perfect prop!

This Grease-worthy lounger is called the Amarcord. And we were spot on! It’s based on the original sun loungers from the ’60s and ’70s, but they have no relation to Sandy and Danny’s U.S. stomping grounds. They are, in fact, the original loungers from Italy’s Rivieras from the retro, golden age. So naturally, they are limited edition…get them while you can at ORA Outdoor!

These ORA Outdoor loungers have been refurbished by hand. They’re also a modern upgrade from the originals having been reupholstered with a new 100% recyclable fabric! With that said, these chairs are completely eco-friendly!

The wood is recovered from the original frame the sun loungers that lined the Riveria in the ‘60s and ‘70s. The Ecolefine fabric is a new generation of plastic eco-sustainable fabric and is free from halogens that are harmful for the environment. It also has high resistance to seawater, UV rays and cleaning and atmospheric agents. How much more can you ask for from an ORA Outdoor chair? Eco-friendly and weatherproof all at the same time?
