Here are a few tools for success to ensure your floors look as good as new even after bumps, falls and spills – straight from Belgotex’s ultimate Table of Stains!
Belgotex Vinyl names the common culprits of spills and falls are mostly consumables because, let’s face it…we love to eat! Things like coffee, soft drinks, juices, fruits, sauces…they have a terrible habit of slipping from our glasses and plates. The cheek of it all! There are also household items like pen ink and iodine. Wash these off with some lukewarm water and a wet sponge. If that doesn’t work, treat the bugger with a 1:10 bleach and water solution and then rinse.
School children rate the best way to polish a shoe is while they are on your feet! It may be the fastest way, but not the best a most of it will likely end up on your Belgotex Vinyl floor! And what’s worse, the kids will probably polish last minute and then dash out the door leaving skid marks in their wake. The trick to removing the polish or heel stripes is benzine. Treat the stains immediately and rinse thoroughly.
Another major floor staining culprit is nail polish. Now, a teen child or mom can easily be involved in such acts of floor-trocity! Mom will probably try to remove the spilled nail polish as quickly as possible. A teen girl, on the other hand, will take her time. Should it dry, Belgotex Vinyl suggests using nail polish remover followed by a good rinse.
