It seems Mint Designer Renovations did exactly what the client requested with the revamp of Constantia Uncluttered. If it ever were a cluttered space, a first time visitor would have never had guessed it! The Mint team did a marvelous job at opening up the space, bringing light in and incorporating straight lines and geometric shapes that give the space a pleasant uniformity.
In Mint Designer Renovations fashion, the walls came down! One wall clad with natural stone went up and stunning glass recess went in the middle. This stand alone feature would be the only thing separating the living room from the bar area. But what is separate really, when you can see everything that’s on the other side?! The Mint team also got rid of the wall that led from the hall to the lounge and extended the house to incorporate a glass patio.
The uniformity delivered by the use of straight lines and geometrical shapes really removes any possibility for clutter. Mint Designer Renovations uses straight lines of the furniture, walls, countertops and even the stilt-like legs of the bar stools, to bring about a sense of space and lack of clutter. The furniture layout is even in line with the rooms’ layout., while the bar stools are in line with a set of statues on the shelf that lies before them. Rectangles are also a prominent unifying feature. Whether incorporated as a threshold, the curve of the bath or as a nook for a shelf, there’s something about this style that brings the rooms all together.
Outdoors, the house also received a makeover. The original external structure was as equally cluttered as the interior. Mint Designer Renovations repaved and extended the pool are, while streamlining it the entire pool side . The pool was, thus, extended considerably!
